The Challenge

Before working with us, MightyScout had no formal product analytics in place. As a result, their team couldn’t confidently answer key questions like:

The Process

KPI Design & Funnel Mapping

We began by aligning with the MightyScout team on what mattered most: identifying the key metrics, lifecycle KPIs, and critical conversion moments. We segmented these across five growth levers: Leads Segmentation, User Acquisition, Monetization, Engagement, and Churn.
From there, we mapped their entire user journey: from demo requests and free trials on the marketing site to in-app feature usage like influencer lookup, insights, and contact management.

PostHog Tracking Plan & Validation

Using the funnel map, we built a detailed tracking plan that defined key events, properties, and user traits for every meaningful interaction. Once implemented by their dev team, we validated all events in PostHog to ensure complete data accuracy and parity with the plan.

Data Use Case Definition

We partnered closely with MightyScout to define the exact product and growth questions they wanted to answer, such as:

  • What % of trial users activate key features?
  • Which marketing paths drive higher conversion to demo or signup?
